Tired of my black or red prints getting pinkish brown tints because of my old slurry that was basically any color ABS I had left over got thrown into there, I decided to make color specific ABS juice so I can:
1. Color coordinate with my prints
2. Use it to fill gaps and delaminations
3. Glue multi parts together
I started out by chopping up scraps of ABS that I was collecting in case I ever got or build a filabot type machine, and sorting the colors out in different HDPE bottles I got at Taps Plastics for $0.35 (what a deal! Lol.)
Then I squirted them with some acetone until they were fully submerged.
Now I’ll just wait overnight and see how that goes before adding more acetone…
